This was my last night out in Taipei. With my best friends, roommates, and drinking buddies. It was a night to remember. I may have made out with a sexy 24 year old Brazilian who thought I was 21. Maybe. I may have also cried when I had to leave Luxy and all my friends behind. But to my very surprise, as soon as I packed up and was sitting in the airport waiting to board my flight, I felt a huge wave of relief sweep over me. I had zero doubts and I knew I was making the right choice.
Taiwan, I will FOREVER love you. You will always live in my heart. And the friends I made there will last me a lifetime. I am so thankful to have ended this chapter on a happy note. With memorable moments, supportive friends, long scooter rides, hot springs, and peace in my heart. I got the closure I so desperately seeked and now its on to bigger and better adventures. Thank you for all who came along with me, read my stories, and supported me through thick and thin. You know who you are.
