Life in Taipei has been a bit meaningless lately. On top of feeling sick, the weather has been, as expected, a bit gloomy and cold. Not as cold as Frankfurt or Dublin, and for that I'm so thankful, but still cold enough to make my hands freeze on my scooter.
Today, I met an old friend for lunch and as we were walking out of the shopping center, I spotted a photobooth. Finding that little piece of photo fun totally turned my frown upside down.
Apart from the photobooth, it was great just chatting with my friend about life, love, and moving across the world for boys. Its been hard for me to find genuine Taiwanese girlfriends here in Taipei, but Steph has proved to be the exception. She's well traveled, smart, funny, open, candid, and we share a lot of the same views on boys and relationships. I never expected to find such a great friend in her. So thankful for our honest conversations and for her moral support.
