I've been incredibly busy the last week or so showing a friend around Taiwan. Nate is a friend of mine from my George Mason undergrad days and decided to pop in to see me for about a week. He is my first official visitor, which both makes me happy, and also incredibly sad that none of my other friend's have decided to come out to see me in the three years that I have been here.
The pictures above are from our day trip to Taroko Gorge, where we hiked, scooted, and just enjoyed the pretty scenery around us. Today, we are headed to a secret hotsprings location, and then to my favorite hot pot restaurant for dinner. And tomorrow, maybe a second repeat trip to Din Tai Feng...because that places is worth a second visit. More later!
