Greetings from Taiwan again!! I am so happy to be back and have spent the last 2 days relaxing and spending time with those that I've missed the most. I went out last night and it felt like I had never left. As I walked into Luxy, I had feelings of familiar happiness.
I spent yesterday going to Coscto and Carrefore and stocking up on groceries for the house. And then today, I slept in, cleaned my house, and did laundry. I didn't even realize it was Easter until about ten minutes ago...(my mother would be so disappointed to hear that). Instead of feeling bad for being a bad Catholic, I'm think I'll just make a delicious dinner for Manny and Crystal and enjoy a quiet and relaxing evening with some good friends. Happy Easter from Taipei, a land where Easter just feels like another Sunday. Even though I'm not the most religious of people, I do really miss spending these holidays with my family. Maybe next year.
