This is what my Friday looked like.
First, some delicious homemade ceviche. I'm not a big fan of cilantro. Actually, I hate cilantro with a passion. But I'm getting better about accecting it in my life. My friend, on the other hand, would be happy bathing in a tub of cilantro daily. Her love for cilantro is deep. But even though I hate that devilish green herb, I thought the ceviche was pretty freaking delicous.
Second, some delicious crab dumplings that Lauren recommended. It's a shame I had to eat them alone, because I really wanted to try the pork ones too, but getting 22 just for myself seemed a bit gluttonous. Lauren come back so we can eat together dammit!
Third, the YuYuan gardens. Traditional Chinese architecture and peace and serenity around every corner. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of myself in the gardens (the joys of doing touristy things alone). But I whipped out my book and had a lovely afternoon in the park.
Now, it's Saturday. And I woke up much later than I had planned. It's my last Saturday here and I want to do some more touristy things. So here goes.
