I am so frustrated with gmail here in China. Gmail is usually a service that I love, that I praise, that I can't live without. But here in China, Gmail sucks. It usually takes me 3-4 tries (and 5-10 min) before I can actually sign in. Then, the connection fades in and out, so my gchat is temperamental too. I'll be in the middle of a chat and then, BAM, I've been signed out. The worse is when I'm writing an email and then hit send and see the damn "still working" message at the top. It can take me up to 10 minutes for the 'send' button to work sometimes. My efficiency has decreased by 48% due to connectivity issues with Google and the Chinese firewalls. Oh the joys of living in China!! I never ever thought I'd say this, but I really miss Taiwan. Everything is much easier there. Sigh.
You are completly right. Chinese govnerment are making the possible and impossible to make people leave any service that depends of google company. They already dont aloud youtube, facebook, and now plus this. I miss democracy, freedom to go and come and places people say what they think without any afraidness of ditators...
