decisions decisions

I got one of those notices today saying that its time to pay my Typepad bill for 2010. I'm really on the fence about whether or not to pay the $100. The last two years, it wasn't even a question. I had a job. $100 felt like nothing.

Now, I'm a student. And in Taiwan, $100 goes a long way. I mean, my ticket to Malaysia was $80 just to give you an idea.

But I love blooging. And even though I could switch back to blogger, I love typepad so much more. Ahh, decisions decisions. I did just get some birthday money, but all I keep thinking about are new black boots.

Anyways, this weekend will be the last of the homework weekends. Its kinda weird to think that in 4 days time, I'll be free of responsibilities. What in the world am I going to do with my time? Like, I mentioned earlier, I'm a little worried. Possible options:

• scrapbook again
• take my D80 out for an overdue spin
• travel in taiwan
• travel in asia
• workout
• winter cleaning
• shopping
• learn to knit
• decorate my new room
• recharge and refuel

I sooooooo want to go home, because I can do 70% of this list from home. But alas, I will be stuck here. Oh well. Maybe it won't be as bad as I'm making it out to be in my head.

i have two words for 2010

the first one is TRUTH.

I will speak my truth. I will live the truth. I will believe in the truth. I will eat, drink, sleep, and breathe truth. That is the plan. No more lies. No more sugar-coating. Just open honesty. And it will work. And it will help. And it will make everything better in the end.

the second word is BRAVE.

I will be brave. I will keep on fighting. I will survive what lies ahead. I will keep moving forward. And I will do it with my brave face on. I heard this word so much in 2009. So many people called me brave. And although I didn't believe them then, I will believe them now. I am fucking brave. And I will continue being brave enough to endure what lies ahead in2010.

SO, that's all for now. Finals are wrapping up and a 5 week vacation lies ahead. Most people would be excited to have a 5 week break from school, but to be honest, I'm scared shitless. But, in order to stay true to my word, I will put my brave face on and just keep on keeping on. 

happy 2010

Fireworks at Taipei 101.  This is how I rung in the new year a few days ago. It was like being in Times Square, but Taiwan style! I'm so happy to say farewell to 2009 and I am hopeful that 2010 will bring me happiness again. There is something so magical about a new year. So many possibilities lie ahead. I have a feeling 2010 will be fantastic and full of new beginnings. So here's to 2010. Cheers!
