ode to lovely

conundrum, good word.

On the days I have a lot to blog about, I never find the time.

And on the days when I have the time, I never know what to say.

I've really neglected my blog the last two weeks and I hate that.

But whatever. I'll pick it up again soon. Just not feeling inspired lately.

So when I do feel inspired, I'll be back. And hopefully with a new quilt project. Or a scrap page. Or newly painted fingernails. Something with color. And something perhaps funny, and witty, and fresh.

Have a good weekend to all of those who are still out there reading my little piece of internet space.

back at it

As I am sure you have assumed, I took a break from the daily book due to the craziness of the move. But, now we are settled in. And my scrap supplies have a new home. So I decided to start it up again. It's probably not going to be a daily thing, but I will still aim for that. Oh and apparently I had made some pages that I never posted so there are about 10 new ones to look at. Here is the page that started it up again.

Off to meet a new friend at a night market. Tonight might be the night that I get the nerves to try stinky tofu. If the name doesn't give it away, then just use your imagination. Off I go. Peace out.

a list of needs, perhaps wants.

I need:

• To desperately update my blog. It needs a new look. Some new colors. New pictures. Different albums. And most certainly a new banner. I am so sick of my current one I could just puke.
• To scan the three layouts I did over the weekend. And maybe make 3 more while I'm at it.
• To find a job that doesn't have an odd schedule. And that pays me well too. I really miss my old paychecks. But definitely not my old job.
• To find time to workout. I feel the years are starting to show on my flabby legs. Why are the legs the first to go? Along with the flab under the arms. Whats up with that?
• To find friends to eat lunch with. Still on that mission. The people in my class turned out to be duds. Two annoying old dudes, lame. One Japanese girl who is incredibly shy, lame. One vietnamese girl who speaks no english (therefore we can't converse), lame. One American dude who tries too hard and says creepy things, lame. However, there's hope with this one Russian dude. He seems cool. Keeping my fingers crossed.
• To finish my current book. Love, love, love it so far. 
• To call my parents. Haven't talked to them in a while. I miss them. 
• To use my camera more. I need to find the time. And also a good waterproof camera case.

Back to studying. And possibly some shopping. I need some skirts. I'm thinking of making my own. How hard could it be? If anyone has words of wisdom on sewing skirts, please share.
