my weekend is all about him

This weekend, I am making it all about him. His birthday is on Sunday and because I like to celebrate birthdays for as long as possible...I have officially announced that we will start celebrating as soon as he gets home from work. 

I went to Shida today and picked up balloons, streamers, and wire where I hung pictures of us together. I decorated the house and gave him an early birthday present: his first pair of flip flops.

Yep, you heard right. My boy has never owned a pair of flips flops. And since we are going to the beach tomorrow, I thought it would be a perfect present to kick off the weekend.  

So, this weekend, as my friends back home are celebrating the Fourth of July...I will be celebrating the birth of my boy. Lots of fun stuff planned. Happy long weekend everyone.
